San Diego Airport Train

From San Diego Airport there is not direct connection to the railway network but there are options to arrive to the nearest train station. 

Amtrak Intercity and COASTER commuter trains connect passengers to downtown San Diego and also to coastal North County. It includes stops in Old Town, Sorrento Valley, Solana Beach, Carlsbad, Encinitas and Oceanside.

Amtrak: Operates 24h daily during all year. Tickets may be purchased at the Amtrak Station. See below its location.  

COASTER: Operates every day, with the exceptions of New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.

How to get to the nearest TRAIN  Station?

Passengers can pick up the Route 992 of the Metropolitan Transit System to connect with Amtrak’s Pacific Surfliner and the Coaster at Amtrak’s Santa Fe Depot, and also taxi.

It operates from 05:00am to 11:30pm, and has a 15 minutes’ frequency on weekdays and every 30 minutes on weekends and holidays.
